What is iPRO Botswana?
iPRO (Botswana) Pty Ltd is a majority citizen-owned, NBFIRA-licensed asset management firm established in Gaborone in 2007. We manage investment portfolios for institutional clients, pension funds, and retail investors, and operate the iPRO Botswana Money Market Fund (IBMMF) through our unit trust subsidiary, iPRO Botswana Fund Management Pty Ltd.
Is iPRO Botswana regulated?
Yes. iPRO Botswana is licensed by the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) as an Asset Manager under the Securities Act of Botswana. The firm is also classified as a Public Interest Entity (P.I.E.) by the Botswana Accountancy Oversight Authority (BAOA).
Who owns iPRO Botswana?
iPRO Botswana is majority citizen-owned, with a minority staff ownership structure that aligns the interests of the team with those of clients. Gavekal Group (Hong Kong) holds a strategic minority shareholding of approximately 32%. The Board of Directors is 100% Batswana citizens.

What is the minimum investment amount?
The minimum initial subscription for the IBMMF Class A is P1,000. For institutional segregated mandates, minimums vary by mandate type. Please contact our client services team for guidance.
Money Market Fund
What is the iPRO Botswana Money Market Fund (IBMMF)?
The IBMMF is a regulated Botswana money market unit trust, designed to provide capital preservation and competitive income returns. The fund invests primarily in short-term fixed income instruments issued by the Government of Botswana, commercial banks, and high-quality corporate issuers.
How often is income distributed from the IBMMF?
Income is accrued daily and distributed to unitholders on a monthly basis. Investors may choose to reinvest distributions or receive them as cash, subject to the terms of their investment agreement.
Can I withdraw my investment at any time?
The IBMMF is designed for liquidity. Redemptions are processed within the standard settlement period. Please refer to the fund's Scheme Particulars or contact our team for the exact terms applicable to your investment class.
Fees
What fees does iPRO charge?
Fees vary by product and mandate type. The IBMMF charges an annual management fee that is deducted from the fund prior to calculation of the net asset value, meaning the published returns are net of fees.
