Overview
Our flagship unit trust, the iPRO Botswana Money Market Fund (IBMMF), is a professionally managed, NBFIRA-regulated fund open to both institutional and retail investors.
The IBMMF invests in a wide range of high-quality, Pula-denominated money market instruments, including Government of Botswana bonds and treasury bills, negotiable certificates of deposit, fixed deposit placements, corporate bonds, and other short-duration paper.
The objective is straightforward: to provide income while maintaining liquidity and preserving the principal amount invested. We do this by analysing inflation and interest rate trends, assessing the credit strength of issuers, and identifying correctly priced opportunities across the investable universe.
The fund offers a transparent alternative to traditional bank savings products, with daily valuation and monthly income distributions that can be reinvested or paid out.
